Specialty curricula review
We have been working closely with the Specialty Advisory Committees (SACs) and the postgraduate dental deans to revise the 13 specialty curricula. Updated curricula were originally planned to be approved and in place by September 2021, but due to the pandemic, work on this was postponed. Initial draft curricula have been reviewed and feedback has been provided to all SACs.
Updated curricula are expected to be published by March 2023 with updated training programmes and associated assessments being in place for September 2023. A transition plan for trainees already on programmes will be published alongside the curricula.
