Council meetings, both public and closed sessions, are held several times a year, usually at the GDC offices in London or Birmingham. However, due to COVID-19, Council meetings are hosted online until further notice. The public agenda and papers are made available on our website ahead of the meeting.
Like all regulators and other public bodies, a limited number of sensitive items may need to be considered confidentially where, if disclosed, they could impact on the GDC’s ability to regulate the dental team and protect patients. Abbreviated minutes for closed Council sessions are published on our website.

If you have any questions that relate to matters listed on the Council's agenda for the next meeting then please complete our online form. When received at least three working days prior to the date of the meeting, questions will usually be answered orally at the meeting. When received within three working days of the meeting, or in exceptional circumstances, answers will be provided in writing within 15 working days. Either way, the question and answer will be added to the relevant meeting minutes and published on that page.
