The GDC welcomes new Committee member and the re-appointment of lay Council member

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Ann Brown as an independent member to the Remuneration Committee, and the re-appointment of Geraldine Campbell to the Council.

Ann has a long history in senior HR management in global businesses. She is a Trustee and is Chair of the Remuneration Committee of City and Guilds of London and is a Visiting Fellow at Kingston University Business School. Ann is a Commissioner for the Princess Royal Training Award and was a founder member of the City & Guilds Industry Skills Board. She lectures on Employee Engagement at Moscow Business School. Ann joins the committee from October 2019 for a term of four years.

Geraldine has been re-appointed as a lay member of the Council, having been a member since October 2013. Based in Northern Ireland, Geraldine chairs the Council’s Remuneration Committee, and she is also a member of Council of both the General Osteopathic Council and the Northern Ireland Social Care Council, and lay Chair of the Health and Personal Social Services Independent Review of Complaints process. Geraldine will leave office at the end of her term in September 2020.
