Madalyne has over 30 years of experience in the dental profession, encompassing a broad range of roles across all areas of dental practice. In addition to her clinical work as a dental therapist she has held academic and industry-facing positions, including serving as a dental hygiene and therapy tutor at Queen Mary University of London and as an account manager for an oral healthcare marketing and communications agency. 

Her professional interests include the development of dental education programs, the advancement of CPD initiatives, and the creation of evidence-based professional communications and educational toolkits. Passionate about outreach, she has volunteered in rural communities in Panama and Kenya and in the UK with Festival medical services. Currently, she is collaborating with the ICB NHS Sussex and Special Care Dentistry on a pilot project in West Sussex, focused on utilising dental therapists to provide domiciliary care for older adults residing in care homes.
