Manjula is Head of Education Quality Assurance at the GDC. During Manjula’s eight years at the GDC she has led on a range of projects including the revision of the standards for education, the implementation of safe practitioner framework, the revision of the 13 specialty curricula, starting the quality assurance of specialty training and education, and supporting student engagement. 

Prior to the GDC, Manjula worked at the General Medical Council and the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges, with a focus on education and training, curriculum and assessment development, workforce planning and quality assurance. 

She is passionate about improving the quality of education and training for the benefit of patient safety and care. She has expertise in the development and implementation of undergraduate and postgraduate medical and dental education, training and assessment; medical and dental education quality assurance; workforce planning; organisational structure and operational strategy.
