Sarah Ramage

Sarah spent much of her dental career in the military, gradually working up to the position of Chief Dental Officer (CDO) Defence, reporting to the Surgeon General for the Armed Forces. As CDO Defence, Sarah sat on the Primary Healthcare Governance Committee and acted as dental advisor to the Army Health Board. 

Since 2023, Sarah has been working as Head of Clinical Affairs at Straumann Group, the global provider of tooth replacement and orthodontic solutions. From 2019, when Sarah left the military, she worked as Clinical Director, Dental at Bupa. 

Sarah began her Non-Executive career in 2017 taking on the role of Dental Specialist Advisor at the Care Quality Commission and as President of the Armed Forces Group at the British Dental Association. Sarah held both roles until 2019. In 2020, Sarah took on the role of Honorary Colonel Commandant of the Royal Army Dental Corps.
