Health and wellbeing leadership in the dental team

Zain qualified with a degree in Dentistry from King’s College London in 2019, having also obtained a Biomedical Sciences degree from the university. 

Through clinical experiences across Foundation and Dental Core Training, he has gained insights into the current challenges facing oral healthcare, such as health inequalities, barriers to accessing NHS dental services and maintaining the wellbeing and performance of oral healthcare teams.  

Leveraging his clinical experiences and the insights gained from his previous role as a Clinical Fellow with the Office of the Chief Dental Officer England, Zain hopes to address the challenges above by working with key healthcare organisations and colleagues, developing initiatives which will improve the oral healthcare experience for both patients and practitioners.
