Future dental team: their expectations, development and career

Before joining the GDC, Tim Bailey had over 25 years’ experience in dispute resolution and investigations, specialising mainly in consumer complaints and professional conduct issues. He had a senior management position at the Standards Board for England. He was also a scrutiny manager and Acting Director of Scrutiny and Quality at the Professional Standards Authority. There he led independent audits of the casework of the UK’s health professional regulators, including the GDC. Most recently he worked as an ombudsman at the Financial Ombudsman Service.
