The Dental Professional Alliance (DPA) is a collective group of presidents and chairs from the wider dental team. It includes the Society of British Dental Nurses, the British Society of Dental Hygiene and Therapy, Orthodontic Technicians Association, Orthodontic Therapists Society, the British Association of Dental Therapists and the British Association of Clinical Dental Technology. The group was established in 2018 and meets on a quarterly basis and comes together if important events take place in between arranged meetings.

The group has been invaluable at key points over the past six years and hopes to continue to contribute as a collective voice to local and national initiatives and consultations. The DPA does not replace individual professional groups, but rather complements them, whilst supporting each other.
