Kate Kerslake is the CEO of the National Examining Board for Dental Nurses (NEBDN).  

Kate has over 10 years of experience in various management roles within the dental sector including BUPA Dental Care. Kate was appointed as CEO of NEBDN in November 2018 and has been leading the organisation for the past six years. Her vision is to position NEBDN as the foremost provider of qualifications in Dental Nursing, fostering excellence in Dental Nurse education and development across the UK including lifelong careers.  

NEBDN stands out as the only Awarding Organisation (AO) dedicated exclusively to Dental Nursing qualifications. Under Kate's leadership, the organisation has undergone significant transformation, including the transition to digital examinations in 2020 and the launch of the Dental Nurse Apprenticeship in 2023. Additionally, Kate has expanded NEBDN's recognition with Ofqual and secured recognition from CCEA in Northern Ireland.
