Future dental team: their expectations, development and career

Janet has been working as an adviser for the NHS for over 10 years and has been providing clinical advice to the GDC for over a year, where she works three days a week. She has experience of clinical practice in hospital, community and general practice dentistry with additional experience in orthodontics.

Janet has extensive experience in training, most recently developing a national qualification in oral health care for care assistants and has mentored and lectured at post graduate level. Janet obtained a master’s degree in Medical Education from Warwick University in 2009 and has a particular interest in reflective practice.
