Jane Luker
After graduating with BDS Hons from Kings College London in 1981 Jane undertook house officer posts at KCL and Bristol Dental before moving to a registrar post at Leeds Dental Hospital. She has a Fellowship in Dental Surgery, RCS Edinburgh, 1984. She also received an MRC Training Fellowship to undertake a PhD in Cellular Pathology 1984-1987 at Bristol University. On completion she was appointed Senior Community Dental Officer (Honorary Senior Lecturer post) in Bristol to establish a service for medically compromised patients. In 1996 she undertook specialty training in Dental & Maxillofacial Radiology, becoming a Consultant and Honorary Senior Clinical lecturer in 2000, and led an undergraduate teaching module in oral disease and dental radiography and radiology.
