Jyoti is a Dental Therapist working clinically across three sites for Community Dental Services CIC Leicestershire, treating paediatric, special care, and anxious patients. Jyoti serves as the East of England Dental Therapist Foundation Training Programme Manager. Since graduating in 2016 and completing Vocational Training in 2017, Jyoti has expanded her scope through inhalation sedation training and leadership roles.  

From 2021–2023, Jyoti was an NHSE Midlands Clinical Fellow, leading ‘Project Sphere – Patient Safety’ with Jason Wong MBE, Chief Dental Officer for England. This initiative focused on embedding a positive patient safety culture through stakeholder engagement and practical tools like huddle sheets. She is passionate about integrating human factors into dentistry, and is the Human Factors Patient Safety Officer Council Member for BADT and is involved with Human Factors in Dentistry: Patient Safety Sciences.
