Our #DentalLeaders campaign encourages collaboration with the dental team, featuring posts with portrait photography and quotes from dental professionals. We invite dental leaders to share the challenges they face in practice and their views on important topics within the sector. The campaign has created a forum for thought leadership and discussion around potential solutions to sector-wide issues and amplifies diverse voices from across the UK.

Rebecca Harris is Professor and Honorary Consultant of Dental Public Health, Liverpool University, and also Senior Clinical Advisor on Dental Contract Reform Strategy in the Department of Health and Social Care.

Kirstie, James and Brid represent the Committee of Post Graduate Dental Deans and Directors for the UK.
Caroline Lappin
Caroline is the Chief Dental Officer for Northern Ireland. She has a particular interest in leadership and management in healthcare, and has been involved in a number of research projects looking at improving oral health of older people.
Tom Ferris
Tom is the Chief Dental Officer for Scotland, until his retirement in December 2025. Since qualifying in Glasgow in 1982, he has worked in general practice, hospital service, the salaried service in Scotland and in the hospital service in Malta.
