As frontline workers, the dental team are at a greater risk of exposure to COVID-19, which is why they are among the first groups to have been offered the vaccine. We encourage dental workers to take up this opportunity to be vaccinated, provided there are no medical grounds that would make it unsafe for them to do so.

Of those yet to make a statement, the large majority are in the position to be able to make a ‘zero-hours’ statement for 2020 (83% in the case of annual statements and 67% in the case of end-of-cycle statements).
