    Annual renewal on MyGDC

You can complete your annual renewal through MyGDC.

We recommend signing in to MyGDC before your annual renewal window opens to make sure you can access your account.

Logging in for the first time: Existing users should use the same e-mail address they used with eGDC to log in, there is no need to create a new account. Click 'Forgot your password?' then check your e-mail for the verification code and follow the prompts to create your new password.

Verification code emails: If you can't find your verification code, please check your junk, spam, or other folders. The e-mail is sent from ‘MyGDC (via Microsoft)’ with the subject line ‘Your MyGDC account verification code’. The code is valid for 30 minutes; if it's expired, you will need to select ‘Forgot your Password?’ again.

Payments: Once your annual retention fee payment and indemnity declaration have been received, you will receive a confirmation email. Your payment receipt will also be available in MyGDC under 'My Payments'. Please allow 48 hours from your confirmation email before trying to access it there. You can also check 'My Profile' on MyGDC. If your registration expiry date shows as 31 December 2027 (dentists), your annual retention fee has been received.

Practising certificates: Your electronic practising certificate can be accessed via 'My Profile' in MyGDC, from 1 January (dentists). If you requested a physical copy, this will be posted to you.

Contacting us: If you experience difficulties after trying the steps above, please contact us at [email protected]. During the renewal period, we work through a high volume of enquiries and aim to respond as quickly as possible.
