GDC welcomes new Head of Welsh Affairs

We have today announced the arrival of Leighton Veale as our new Head of Welsh Affairs.

 

Leighton joins the GDC with a background in public affairs and health policy stretching back 15 years, including roles with the Royal College of Surgeons in Wales and The Stroke Association.

 

Leighton said: “This is a new role at the GDC, highlighting the value which is placed on good quality engagement with stakeholders right across the UK. The commitment to that two-way conversation runs throughout our new three-year strategy Right time, right place, right touch, and I look forward to doing my part to bring those strategic aims to life in Wales.”
