ORE contract: GDC concludes final stage of procurement

We are pleased to confirm that the latest stage of the procurement process to award the new contract for the Overseas Registration Examination (ORE) Part 1 and Part 2 has now concluded, after a rigorous and competitive UK-wide bidding process that meets our high standards. 

The new contract will represent an important milestone in ensuring the continued delivery of the ORE. We will now move into finalising contractual arrangements, which we anticipate will be completed by the end of the year.  

The new arrangements will increase capacity of the ORE, helping overseas dentists progress through the ORE and onto the register in a timely way. 

We would like to thank candidates and stakeholders for their patience and continued engagement throughout this process.
