GDC welcomes new Head of Scottish Affairs

We have today announced the arrival of Gordon Matheson CBE as our new Head of Scottish Affairs.

 

Gordon joins the GDC with a wealth of experience gained at the highest levels of local government and from leading the public affairs and policy functions in Scotland for two major national charities.

 

Gordon said: “The unwavering commitment to protecting the public through a better, fairer system of dental regulation is clear and I’m thrilled to join the team at the beginning of the GDC’s three-year strategy: Right time, right place, right touch. I'm looking forward to working with the whole dental team, the Scottish Government, students, education providers and all our stakeholders to help maintain the highest standards within the dental profession for the benefit of patients.”
