This report presents the findings of a survey carried out by the General Dental Council in November and December 2015 with a sample of 1,106 dentists who passed the ORE between 2009 and 2014, identified from the GDC register. 465 responses to the survey, a 42% response rate.
The questions in the survey covered four main areas:
- Where graduates worked and in what type of practice
- Employment status
- Career paths
- Experience of working since passing the ORE.
