Clinical Case Examiner

Claire Maasz

Claire has worked in dentistry for many years, qualifying as a dental surgery assistant in 1989 with merit, and later gaining her Certificate in Oral Health Education from the University of Nottingham with distinction. This deepened her focus and passion for preventative dentistry, before qualifying as a dental hygienist from Liverpool University Dental Hospital in 1999.

Alongside clinical practice she has always taken a keen interest in the educational and regulatory side of the profession and over the years has added qualifications in teaching, workplace assessment and internal quality assurance. More recently, she served as an overseas DCP registration assessment panellist for the GDC from 2023 and now brings all this experience together across clinical work, dental education and regulation to serve as a Clinical Case Examiner.
