Social Return on Investment of the Dental Complaints Service

The Dental Complaints Service (DCS) is funded by the GDC and is currently under review. As part of this review we want to get a better understanding of the impact of the service on its various stakeholders and express this impact in monetary terms through using the Social Return on Investment (SROI) methodology and explore the potential to use SROI as an evaluation tool for other projects and services.
We commissioned Social Value Lab, an independent specialist consultancy, to conduct this research and complete a SROI analysis.
