Dr Nancy Girgis is a dentist with a special interest in Periodontology and the Founder and Director of Best Dental Training. She has over 26 years of clinical experience and more than 14 years of experience teaching and mentoring international dental professionals preparing for the LDS and ORE examinations in the UK. 

Nancy qualified with honours from Ain Shams University before completing the LDS at the Royal College of Surgeons of England and an MSc in Periodontology with Distinction from the UCL Eastman Dental Institute. She previously served as an Honorary Clinical Lecturer at the Royal College of Surgeons of England and has contributed extensively to postgraduate dental education and clinical skills training. 

Alongside her educational work, Nancy works clinically with a focus on periodontology and peri-implant disease management. She has lectured nationally and internationally on periodontal topics and was nominated for the UCL Dean’s Research Award in recognition of her academic and research contributions. 

Through her work in education, Nancy has supported hundreds of internationally qualified dentists in navigating the challenges of registration, communication, and integration into the UK dental profession. Her work focuses not only on examination preparation but also on building confidence, professionalism, and safe clinical practice. 

Nancy is passionate about widening access to opportunities for overseas dentists and advocating for better support, understanding, and inclusion within the profession.
