Anita Carter

Anita Carter qualified as a Dental Surgery Assistant in 1989, studied Human Biology at the University of Hertfordshire in 2003, Dental Hygiene at King’s College London in 2005 and Dental Therapy at King’s College Hospital in 2013. Anita also gained a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical and Dental Education with Merit, from Oxford Brookes University in conjunction with Health Education Thames Valley, in 2015. Anita worked as a Dental Tutor for Health Education Thames Valley and as a Dental Hygiene and Therapy Tutor for King’s College Hospital for six years up until April 2015. Since then she has managed the Quality Improvement Performance Framework and Clinical Learning Environment Team for Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire Workforce Partnership which is part of Health Education England. Anita now maintains a small clinical commitment as a Dental Hygiene Therapist which is in support of her role as Clinical Case Examiner for the GDC.
