Registration fees
Dental care professionals
The fee you pay depends on the month you submit your application for registration. For example, if you submit your application in May 2010 you will need to pay a fee of £24. This fee will cover a period of registration up to,and including 31 July 2010. From 1 August 2010, you will need to pay an annual fee to keep your name on the Register.
The following table applies to dental care professionals only. The fees for dentists are shown further down this page.

Dentists
The fee you pay depends on the month you submit your registration application to the GDC. For example, if you submit your application in August 2010 you need to pay a fee of £185 for 2009. The fee covers a period of registration up to and including 31 December 2010.

How to pay
Payment can be made by credit card/debit card, postal orders or cheque. We accept MasterCard, Visa, Switch, Solo, Electron and Maestro. Cheques and postal orders should be made payable to the General Dental Council - please write your full name on the reverse.
If you are enclosing original documents with your application and would like these returned by recorded delivery please add £10 to your fee.
