GDC seeks Independent Committee member – Remuneration Committee

The General Dental Council is seeking to appoint an independent member to provide expert advice and guidance to the Remuneration Committee. The committee is responsible for determining executive pay, fees for independent members and for overseeing pay policy.

The appointee will have substantial experience of reward management at a senior level, preferably in the public or not for profit sectors, including knowledge of pay system development and equalities impacts. Previous remuneration committee experience and a collaborative working style are essential.

It is expected that the appointment will be for 4-6 days per year in the first year, thereafter for 2-4 days per year. The successful candidate will attend an induction and will take part in training.

Monday 14 November by 5pm.  Applications received after this time cannot be considered.

• The meetings will be held in London
• £353 per day plus travel and subsistence expenses are available
