Transition

As part of our current programme of reform, a number of GDC procedures have recently changed by virtue of the section 60 Order approved by the Scottish and UK Parliaments in June - July 2005. Although the 2006 Rules and Regulations above apply to new cases after 31 July 2006, earlier legislation continues to apply to some cases prior to that date. See the Order below for the main provisions surrounding the transitional period.
