UK dental regulator to prosecute Winchester man for illegal dentistry

A local man has been accused by the UK dental regulator, the General Dental Council (GDC), of 14 counts of the illegal practice of dentistry.

The case against Joe Jordan is due to be heard before Southampton Magistrates Court at 10:00 on Monday 18 February 2008.

It is a criminal offence for anyone other than a registered dental professional to carry out dentistry. The GDC is committed to protecting the public by bringing cases of illegal practice to court.
