Dental technicians - register now

Dental technicians are being encouraged to register with the UK dental regulator, the General Dental Council (GDC), at eight registration events to be held throughout the UK during April, May and June.
GDC issues statement on implant dentistry
Educational providers and dental practitioners who wish to practise implant dentistry should refer to the Training Standards in Implant Dentistry for General Dental Practitioners, published by the Faculty of General Dental Practice (UK), says the GDC.

GDC operates registration surgery at Dental Technology Show

With the legal deadline (30 July 2008) for GDC registration fast approaching, dental technicians must act now to ensure they are registered in time. For dental technicians who have not yet registered, a ‘Registration Surgery’ will be available at the Dental Technology Show (9-10 May).
UK dental regulator prosecutes Bristol man for illegal dentistry

The UK dental regulator, the General Dental Council (GDC), has successfully prosecuted Stuart Folland of 43 Whitchurch Road, Bristol for the illegal practice of dentistry.
