Call for ideas - Routes to registration for overseas (non-EEA) Dental Care Professionals

Compulsory registration for all six groups of dental care professionals (DCPs) will begin on 30 July 2008. With this in mind, the GDC has set up a working group to look at how best to assess overseas (non-EEA) DCPs’ suitability for registration.

From this early stage, the Overseas DCPs Registration Working Group would very much welcome your views on the subject.  

The GDC wishes to receive expressions of interest from any overseas (non-EEA) DCPs who may wish to be assessed for registration in the future. The purpose of this exercise is to have a clear idea of numbers. Please log your interest at overseasdcp@gdc-uk.org, stating the relevant DCP group and title of the qualification that enabled you to practise in your country.
