Rosemary Carter (lay)
Rosemary Carter is a consultant solicitor and mediator, working in private practice in central London and East Anglia. She is also currently a board member of the Office for Legal Complaints, a non-executive director of the Child Maintenance & Enforcement Commission and chair of their remuneration committee, and a member of the RICS Surveyors Ombudsman Scheme Board.
Rosemary has been a trustee of Gingerbread (the charity for lone parents and their children) since 2002. She is a member and former national chair of the Solicitors Family Law Association (now Resolution).
She was previously a lay member of the Nursing & Midwifery Council, a member of the Civil Mediation Council and member of the Council of the Law Society.
