Mary Dodd (dentist)
After qualifying from Cardiff Dental School, Mary Dodd’s career has given her opportunities to work in the three major dental fields of community, general practice and hospital.
She is a returning registrant member to the Council of the GDC – where she has previously served on the fitness to practise committee and the standards committee, which she chaired for 18 months. She is currently on both the registration and finance and HR committees.
She works as clinical dental lead for Hywel Dda Health Board as well as a locum general dental practitioner and as postgraduate dental tutor for West Wales. Mary has also been the dental member on various area child protection committees and is a past lay representative for Wales on the Diabetes UK Advisory Council.
