<p style="color: #3f3f3f">​<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #3f3f3f; font-size: 12px"><span><span>The purpose of the General Dental Council (GDC) is to protect patients by regulating the dental team.  With this in mind, in 2009 the GDC commissioned a review of temporary registration (TR) with the aim of establishing the value TR adds to dentistry provision, the individual experience of TR, the organisational experience of TR and the educational experience of TR.  As a result of this review, a number of amendments are proposed in relation to the guidelines that govern TR.  Before the GDC considers the implementation of these amended guidelines, we would like to hear your views on this document</span>.</span> </span></p>
