The purpose of revalidation is to introduce an
approach to providing continuing assurance for patients and the public that
those on our register continue to be up to date and fit to practise.
committed to developing an approach to our continuing assurance policies and
procedures that is workable, proportionate and cost effective.
An important part of our work on continuing assurance is our proposals for an enhanced CPD scheme. More detail can be found on our CPD Review pages.
We are undertaking research and information gathering to inform our proposals where appropriate, as part of evidence-based policy making.
