GDC Council meeting - Tuesday 23 March 2010

The next meeting of the Council of the General Dental Council (GDC) will take place on Tuesday 23 March 2010 in the Council Chamber, General Dental Council, 37 Wimpole Street, London W1G 8DQ from 10:30am.

Key items to be considered include:

• Council will note a report from the Audit Committee as well as one from the Finance and HR Committee.
• Changes to the Dental Appliances Guidance will be discussed following implementation of the Medical Devices Directive 93/42/EC.
• Council will discuss changes to the Constitution Order following amendments to the Insolvency Act.

There will be a question and answer session at the start of the meeting, to give members of the public an opportunity to find out more about the issues on the agenda. This will start at 10:30am and is done in an open forum format with no pre-selection or pre-ordering of questions.
