Your registered address

You need to inform us promptly of any changes to your registered details, including a change of address. If we don't have your current address, our fee reminder letters may not reach you and you could miss out on other important GDC requests and updates.

How to change your registered address

Please download the Change of Address Form (Word, 307Kb)

Then print, complete and return it by post or fax. You can also register a change of address by email or in writing (details on the form).

Which address should I use as my registered address?

Your registered address can be your home address, practice address, or another address where you can be contacted. The address you use is your choice. Some registrants prefer to use their practice address to safeguard their privacy. It's also possible to register a Post Office Box number if you prefer.

Whichever you choose, tell us promptly if you change address, or if there are any other changes to your registered details.

Are my registered details publicly available?

Yes. By law your registered details (your full name, registered address, qualifications and date of first registration) are all public information. Members of the public can check any registrant's details by contacting us or by checking the Dentists Register or Dental Care Professional Register on this website.
