The GDC website is best viewed with Internet Explorer 6 or higher and the latest Mozilla based and Netscape browsers.
Text size
You can change the text size on this site using your browser's options. Go to the 'view' menu and select 'text size' and choose the size you would like to view the site in.
Here, you can view a text only version of the GDC site; this removesthe Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) which format the layout of the pages.

Navigation
You can navigate the site via:
- the top, left and right hand navigation bars,
- the A-Z of the site,
- the search facility in the top left of each page,
- the quick links section towards the top right of the home page.
Keyboard navigation
The arrow keys on your keyboard can be used to scroll up or down the page. You can use the tab key to select the next link on the page, and press return or enter to visit the link. To go back a page, use the backspace key.
Links
The GDC website has been constructed to be accessible via screen readers and text based browsers. Links contained within the content of a page are descriptive. Links to documents are labelled as Word or PDF and will open in a new window.
Downloading or reading documents
Most documents are available in PDF and Word formats. Access Adobe translates PDFs into HTML or a text email, making them accessible if you use a screen reader. You can download Adobe Acrobat Reader from the Adobe website. If you need to request a document in a different format, please contact us: communications@gdc-uk.org

All content images include descriptive ALT attributes to describe for people using screen readers.
Printing
All the information on individual pages is printer friendly. Please use the icon towards the top right of each page, or use Ctrl P. This will print the body of the page only.
