We aim to ensure that all General Dental Council webpages conform to the World Wide Web Consortium's (W3C) Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (AA Standard). We are striving to improve this site's accessibility on an ongoing basis.

The GDC website is best viewed with Internet Explorer 6 or higher and the latest Mozilla based and Netscape browsers.

The GDC Website has been constructed to be accessible via screen readers and text based browsers by placing all the navigation links at the top of the page.

All content images include descriptive ALT attributes to describe what the image is trying to portray.

Downloading or reading documents
Most documents are currently available in pdf format. A support link to access adobe acrobat reader is available on our publications page.

All the information on individual pages are ‘printer friendly’. Please use the icon towards the top and on the right of each page.
