Prior to joining the GDC, Tara worked in various press and public relations roles with Securicor plc (handling press issues related to HMP Parc, the electronic monitoring of offenders, and court escorting in London), Lloyds TSB, Nuclear Electric plc and in PR agencies in the UK and Ireland. Tara graduated with a BA (Hons) in Public Relations from Bournemouth University in 1994.
