The Council is supported by a staff team of around 150, headed up by the Interim Chief Executive and Registrar, Alison White and the Executive Management Team.

The Executive Management Team (EMT) is responsible for:

• managing and deploying the resources provided by the Council to achieve its objectives.
• providing leadership to the managers and staff who carry out the Council’s business.  
• providing the senior executive face of the Council in its relations with stakeholder and partner organisations.
  

EMT members fulfil the function of Executive Directors of the Council. They share collective responsibility for actions and decisions taken, regardless of their individual line responsibilities.
