Roland Kitchen

Studied Dentistry at Bristol University and researched for the Department of Pharmacology from where he co-authored two papers.

After qualification in 1982, he worked up to registrar level in hospital Oral & Maxillo-Facial surgery, before going into general dental practice. Currently he is in practice near Bristol, and works once a week at a local prison. Roland has a keen interest in advanced conservation and accepts referrals for oral surgery.

For the GDC, Roland was an inaugural member of the Dental Complaints Service, before joining the Fitness to Practise Panel.

Outside of dentistry, Roland is a magistrate, and chair of magistrate in the community and drug rehabilitation panels. Roland is also a professional actor and singer, dabbling in opera and oratorio.
