Pippa Stewart started work as a dental nurse in 1977, after two years she was accepted at the Institute of Dental Health and Training at RAF Halton to study Dental Hygiene as a civilian trainee. She qualified in 1980 and worked for the next six years in various practices in London and the south east.
In 1987 she took a short career break to work as a Flotilla Hostess for a sailing company in the Mediterranean. On her return she worked for a local practice in Rochester, Kent, where she currently works part-time.
She sits as a lay Magistrate and is the community governor for a local infant school.
