Lorna Jacobs 

Lorna Jacobs studied Biological Sciences at the University of East Anglia, then, after a brief interlude as a teacher, she spent 15 years in Pharmaceutical communication, including selling, marketing and publishing. After a career break, she changed direction somewhat, dealing with complaints for the NHS sitting on Terms of Service Committees, and for Social Services as an Independent Person, and Independent Review Panel member.  Lorna is currently a magistrate and Youth Court Chair for East Berkshire Bench

She is a Non-Executive Director for a local Primary Care Trust with particular responsibility for public involvement and integrated governance, and a lay member of the Council of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain.  Lorna is also a member of the Family Health Services Appeal Authority.

Lorna is active in the local synagogue in a variety of activities, including multi-faith relations.
