Keddie Kelsall

Keddie Kelsall began her career in dentistry as a dental surgery assistant at Liverpool Dental Hospital in 1984. On qualifying she gained experience at the Hospital in departments such as the examinations, oral surgery, oral medicine and special unit for high risk and immuno-compromised patients. Keddie gained a Diploma in Dental Health Education from the Royal Society of Health in 1988, then qualified as a dental hygienist in 1990. She then worked in general dental practice in Chester and North Wales for many years.

In 1988 Keddie gained the Certificate in Education from Manchester Metropolitan University in order to teach dental nurses at night school. In 2000, she became an examiner for the National Examining Board for Dental Nurses and also qualified as a dental therapist. She now works in private practice as a dental therapist and continues to teach and examine dental nurses.
