Originally from Kendal, Janet Reid qualified in 1979 as a Dental Hygienist at the Royal Naval Dental Training School in HMS Nelson, Portsmouth.
Janet is married with two children and has worked in both the NHS and Private sectors over the past 28 years.
She currently works as a locum hygienist in Reading, Berkshire.
Away from dentistry, Janet is a Magistrate on the West Berkshire Bench, and also sits on the combined Reading West Berkshire Youth Panel.
In her spare time Janet is a season ticket holder for Reading F.C.
