Helen Parkinson qualified at Edinburgh in 1970, and has worked in the community, hospital, and general dental services. She has trained as a specialist in dental public health and orthodontics and has had experience teaching undergraduates and as a vocational trainer.
As part of her orthodontic training program at Liverpool University, Helen completed a masters degree in conjunction with the clinical psychology department.
Helen is now working part time providing orthodontic care in the salaried service of Central and Eastern Cheshire Primary Care Trust.
She was previously the Head of a salaried primary care service and served a 3 year term appointment on the trust's Professional Executive Committee.
