Denise Forshaw
Denise Forshaw qualified as a dentist in 1977 from Liverpool Dental School. She worked in Wigan and Skelmersdale and then in 1996 she jointly purchased the Skelmersdale practice with her sister. She has been a member of the Local Dental Committee since 1996.
Denise has been involved in Vocational Training since 1997 and was a member of the Dental Vocational Training Authority. She occasionally lectures and recently has been training outreach undergraduates from Liverpool University. She gained a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning in a Clinical Practice from the University of Lancaster in 2001. Denise achieved the postgraduate examination, Membership of the Faculty of General Dental Practice from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2005.
Denise is married with two sons and two daughters. She is also a partner in the family business involved in the care of animals which includes boarding, grooming and training.
