Carol Greene

Carol Greene grew up in Newcastle upon Tyne where her father was a Dental Practioner. She started her career as a primary school teacher and became a Deputy Head Teacher in Salford before moving in to Further Education as Lecturer in Early Childhood Education.

Currently Carol has a variety of paid and voluntary positions. She is a Quality Auditor for ASET (a national awarding body) and a lay member for the Family Health Services Appeals Authority. Appointed a Lay Magistrate in 1999, and now a Chairman, she sits in the Youth and Fines Courts as well as the Adult Court. She was a member of the Bench Training and Development Committee for four years and now sits on the Manchester Advisory Committee.
