The Professional Conduct Committee is one of three fitness to practise committees. It can suspend or impose conditions on a dental professional where there is a need to protect the public, the public interest or the registrant themselves.
The Professional Conduct Committee (PCC) holds inquiries into cases about dental professionals and makes decisions on their fitness to practise. These meetings are open to the public and held at our offices.
Membership of each Professional Conduct Committee is drawn from an independent Fitness to Practise Committee.
