The Finance and Human Resources Committee is responsible for monitoring and reporting on matters that will affect the financial viability of the Council.The Committee ensures effective financial stewardship of the Council’s resources and develops the annual budget for the Council’s approval and monitors performance against each budget. The Committee is also responsible for ensuring good employment practices and compliance by the Council with current employment law.
